The Orbitform Medical UVC Decontamination Chamber (UVC DC) decontaminates disposable N95 face masks / respirators.   Allowing the re-use of face masks / respirators in the event of a shortage.  The decontamination method is eight (8) germicidal UV-C bulbs positioned in front (4) of and behind (4) the face masks.  Ten (10) N95 face masks / respirators can be decontaminated during each UV exposure cycle.  The stainless steel cabinet is built to last and sized to be convenient for transporting from room to room if necessary.

Portable On-Site Face Mask Decontamination Chamber

The UVC DC can be used at healthcare clinics, hospitals, fire stations, police stations, nursing homes, etc., and can be located near the actual point of use.  One or more UVC DC's can be located at each department, wing, hallway, nurse’s station, or emergency room, so there is no need to handle and disinfect mass numbers of masks at a central or off-site location.  The UVC Decontamination Chamber can easily be transported in a minivan or SUV.

The Orbitform Medical UVC Decontamination Chamber is designed and intended to be used with disposable N95 face masks / respirators that hold their shape.  The machine is not intended for use with face masks that come folded and are then unfolded by the user prior to use.  The UVC light needs to come into contact with the surfaces of the face masks / respirators in order for the UVC light to do it's job.  Please keep this in mind when deciding which N95 face masks / respirators to process through the UVC DC.
